Training and Professional Development provides leadership development
programs to three main categories of Educational leaders:
Pre--kindergarten through 12th grade public and private institutions
to improve the nation's schools by improving the leadership skills of
school and school system administrators. Universities, Community Colleges,
and Adult Educational institutions to improve post secondary education
Teachers as Leaders to improve leadership within the classroom and the
school.
The training curriculum is designed to enable educational leaders to
add professional certification areas and endorsements, renew current
certification areas, increase their levels of expertise within their
fields, and to enable persons who wish to change careers to enter the
education field. The focus in all programs is on the improvement of
professional practice, the application of current research and theory
to professional work, the acquisition and enhancement of leadership
capacities, and the achievement of career objectives.
