Student's
Portfolio Guide
Students must print a copy of the syllabus to bring to class.
Effective July 1998,
Florida Department of Education Administrative Rule 6A-5 requires
that “Completion of the [teacher education] program shall
require demonstration of the subject matter content standards
and the educator accomplished practices.”
NSU’s Graduate Teacher Education Program Implemented the
portfolio as a tool for documenting achievement of the 12 Accomplished
Practices in the Fall of 1998. |

601 is a requirement for candidacy at the beginning of your
program.
- EDU
602 is a requirement for graduation, to be taken after all
credits are completed.
- These are both offered for 0 credits. A small
fee will be assessed upon registration.
