Master's Accelerated Program presentations
On April 7, 2006, five groups of students from the Master's Accelerated Program (MAP) presented literature review poster sessions at the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Student Symposium in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Patrice LeBlanc, a Professor in the Undergraduate Teacher Education Programs, served as the students' advisor. The students' papers were on topics of interest to teachers that are related to No Child Left Behind, as identified in the list below. One of the student groups, Ms. Stephens and Ms. Dieppa, tied for the third place award for the poster sessions at the Symposium.
Furthermore, three students from the MAP will be presenting their literature review papers with Dr. LeBlanc in August at the Association of Teacher Educators Summer Conference in Philadelphia , PA. These students are Ms. Stephens, Ms. Dieppa, and Ms. Soriano.
