Field Associate Job Description
General Duties:
- Schedule, market, and conduct information meetings
- Recruit new students and maintain a prospective student
database
- Respond to inquiries and provide information materials
- Begin new clusters/cohorts
- Provide input to help determine class dates/times
- Provide student information through the utilization of
Banner, EPS, and WebSTAR
- Submit projected annual budget for each cluster
- Maintain student information data forms
- Monitor student progress
- Provide connection to other FSEHS programs
- Make NSU and FSEHS announcements
- Attend annual Site Administrators Meeting another meetings
as requested
General Duties:
- Identify a site, obtain bids, and negotiate contracts
for prospective instructional sites
- Location logistics: arrange for A/V and other necessary
supplies/equipment
- Create positive academic environment
- Serve as faculty liaison
Duties in Support of Central Office:
- Provide roster to instructor and maintain class attendance
sheets
- Act as liaison to FSEHS students, in all areas including
admissions, registration, financial aid, and DSO
- Provide FSEHS office with current class roster and email
addresses
- Inform students of institutional policies and procedures
- Inform students about academic requirements, from admission
to graduation
- Provide students with information concerning continuing
services
- Manage program resources
Qualifications:
In order to accomplish the above duties, the potential field associate should possess the following qualifications:
Required:
- Earned doctorate, from an accredited institution, in education
or related field
- Demonstrated leadership ability as evidenced by a minimum
of five years of leadership experience
- Evidence of computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, email
- Demonstrated evidence of program management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Excellent knowledge of doctoral program(s)
- Evidence of success marketing/recruiting students
- Knowledge of educational needs within a geographical/cultural
area
