1. What is Online Education?
A.
Online Education courses are conducted through
the Internet, allowing you to receive and submit course
work and interact with participants and your professor via
your computer and modem. This method allows you to participate
in courses at times and places convenient to you.

2. What if I don't have a computer?
A.
Course content is accessed through the Internet,
which means that you can gain access either at work, libraries,
or at any other facilities where computers are available.

3. What if I don't know how to use a computer
and need assistance?
A.
For those students who have limited experience
with computers, or do not feel comfortable using computers,
an introductory training course is available that will ensure
student facility and ease with online instruction.
Additionally, there will be convenient online assistance
for all courses.

4. What are the admission requirements?
A.
Students must submit:

A completed application form.

A one time application fee in the amount of $50.00.

Documentation
that verifies completion of high school or an accredited
high school equivalency program. Documentation should
be in the form of official high school or college transcripts,
and/or the official GED.

brief letter from the employer to verify employment in
an early childhood education setting. Please indicate
any affiliation with a Head Start Program.

How
can I register?
A.
Students can register online via WebSTAR,
by contacting an academic advisor, or by completing a Student Transaction Form (STF) . For additional assistance, please call 800-986-3223,

6. How long does it take to complete a course?
A.
All early childhood courses (ECA) can be completed in eight-week sessions.
Most general education courses can be completed in eight-week sessions, but some may require 16 weeks.

7. How soon can I complete the AA/ECE program?
A.
Students can complete the program in as little
as 18 months.

8. Are
there any additional costs?
A.
There is a one time application fee in the amount
of $50.00, a student services fee of $250 per term (not to exceed $750 per year), and
a registration fee of $30 per registration. Fees are subject
to change.
