Florida PTA is the largest statewide volunteer organization working exclusively on behalf of children and youth. Founded in 1921 as a branch of the 7 million member National PTA, Florida PTA is made up of 1,417 local units with more than 386,479 Florida members seeking to unite home, school and community for all children. For more than 80 years, Florida PTA has worked statewide on behalf of children and youth. They are a potent force in the fight for the health, education, welfare, and safety of our children and youth.

National Coalition for Parental Involvement in Education (NCPIE)

The National Coalition for Parental Involvement in Education is an organization that advocates the involvement of parents and families in their children's education, and fosters relationships between home, school, and community to enhance the education of young people. NCPIE serves as a visible representative for strong parent and family involvement initiatives at the national level; conducts activities that involve the coalition's member organizations and their affiliates and constituencies in efforts to increase family involvement; and provides resources and legislative information that can help member organizations promote parent and family involvement.

Families and Advocates Partnership for Education (FAPE)

The Families and Advocates Partnership for Education (FAPE) aims to improve the educational outcomes for children with disabilities. It links families, advocates, and self-advocates to communicate the new focus of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The project represents the needs of 6 million children with disabilities.
